Project overview
Designed by Gagan Architects and completed in 2023, this residential project in Jalandhar, Punjab, was developed for Mr. Opinder Thakur with aluminium fenestration solutions by Lumani Systems. The project brings together modern residential architecture and carefully planned window and door applications.
The residence incorporates AS 39 SC.NI, AWS 40.NI and ADS 50.NI systems, addressing its sliding, window and door requirements. Using multiple systems allows the fenestration strategy to respond to different spaces and opening conditions across the home.
Throughout the residence, aluminium frames and glazing are integrated with the architectural elevations to create clean transitions between enclosed interiors and exterior areas. Particular attention to opening proportions, junction detailing and execution quality helps retain the visual clarity of the architect’s design.
